Donations to Cornell can be earmarked for book awards for KDR Beta undergrads; when donating at giving.cornell.edu, choose Other as the fund, and write “Kappa Delta Rho Beta Chapter book award” in the instructions.

The KDR National Foundation also maintains several scholarship funds that directly benefit brothers at the Beta Chapter; you can earmark donations to the KDR Foundation to these funds:

Scholarship Fund

KΔP prides itself on financial diversity, finances should never prevent a new member from joining. All new members who earn a 3.0 or higher GPA during the semester in which they pledge are eligible to receive a $100 scholarship from the KDR Foundation. The Kappa Delta Rho Foundation Scholarships are established and endowed by individual Brothers, their families, and friends of the Fraternity. Each year more than $75,000 is awarded in academic support to qualified members of the Fraternity. The minimum scholarship award is $500. Learn more on the KDR Foundation Website.

Stephen D. Hansen Memorial Scholarship

The Stephen D. Hansen Memorial Scholarship is endowed in the memory of Brother Stephen D. Hansen, Beta ’80. Although Brother Hansen left us much too early, the Hansen Scholarship helps keep alive the Kappa Delta Rho values of honor, integrity, and brotherhood that Steve lived every day. As of 2020, the scholarship is in its 32nd year, and has awarded $33,200 to 43 deserving brothers in that time. The fund is managed by the KDR Foundation - to contribute, you can name the Stephen D. Hansen Fund when donating to the KDR Foundation.
